Everything except the noice from the streets especially even late at night!
The noise from the streets down in front of the hotel, especially even late at night, produced by the cars, buses and the police
It's a very nice hotel with very good staff. The apartments are really big and comfortable. You really feel yourself at home. As well they also provide you with a good swimming pool where you can relax. And the great advantage that it's really calm and not noisy place.
I loved the fact that I had my own apartment with kitchen, lounge, bedroom and dressing room. The iPad you receive on check in is also great! The staff were friendly and helpful and the gym and pool were lovely too.
It would be better if you could order room service. I would have also liked an outdoor sunbathing area as the weather was so nice.
Kitchenette/lounge layout great for a weeks stay
No air con in the kitchen/lounge area - April was too hot! Lack of staff, no bath, too noisy, not many nice restaramts in walking distance, no bar at hotel, no restarant (yet) at hotel, too clinical.
The concept, the overall experience and the beautiful suites. Lots of space, nicely appointed and serviced and excellent location. You don't feel that you're in a Hotel, but in a modern, everything-you-need, bachelor flat a buddy of yours lent you! Flat-screen HDTV (2), sound system (iPod compatible), kitchenette, wet bar, washer/dryer, King Bed, big bathroom, gym, indoor pool, small movie theater for guests, the works! Only thing missing was a watering hole in-premises (you had to go out to nearby bars for your nightcaps...), but management advise me it will be ready in 3 months. Did I mentioned that all of this was for under $150-a-night?
No room service, bar or restaurant, altough they did inform me that they will have these services within 3 months. When they have it, it will become a killer value proposition for a business traveler.
Excellent apartment in an upscale new apartment building, well located near centro Hitorico & Chapultepec Park
Light on service - if you need bellmen, room service etc this is not the place. More like a lightly serviced apartment hotel.
Great hotel at the centre of the city. All luxury you can desire. Good location to reach out for both leisure and business reasons.
Beautiful suite and very helpful and friendly staff.
The complimentary water is not complimentary. ($15 pesos a bottle) The Business centre do not have any business features - ie. printer, fax, stapler etc. The hot tub was mildewy, the steam room was broken, the pool is a bit dirty. Breakfast is too expensive - should be complimentary with all rooms. The room service was not great and the food was terrible.
Safe place, huge apartments, big bar in the room, good restaurant. Good value for money.
No bad things to say.
The condo is so beautiful with a large common area inside the flat for our family to gather yet it give us all privacy as we are three sisters living in different parts of the world and valued the time we had with each other once every year.
Awesome place with state of the art amenities. Suites are spacious, modern and with amazing views. I traveled with my 11 year old son and my 2 year old daughter and there's something for everyone. The pool is clean, perfect temperature and large enough to do laps. Gym is very well equipped. Breakfast food is delicious and all the staff was very polite and helpful all the time. Great location to get easily to city's main attractions and museums.
Only main complain is that room service hours is subject to the restaurant hours, kind of limited since it closes at 11:00 pm.
Location, great rooms, friendly personal
Wireless and ac System
The facilities which are offered by the hotel for free were overexpected: spa, swimming pool, sauna etc. The rooms are very good, the staff was friendly.
The Plaza Suites Hotel in M-City does only run about 30 apartments in a large, new, modern building at the most prestigeous avenue in Mexico - Reforma. The apartments are expremly well equiped and I have never been in an apt-hotel, where there was a gues toilet with even a shower and there were 12 (twelve) large towels in both bathroom. The staff is extreamly helpul, such as asking for any kind of sevice about twice a day.
Well, if your sleeping hours are between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. you should not worry about the next few lines. But if you like to get some additional sleep than 4 hours, you might like to be informed that Mexico-City has about 20 Mio people living there. As not everyone can own his own car, those who can like to show there gratitude by using the horn as much as they can at any time. As the hotel is located at the most frequent street, a roundabout in front and not really traffic lights that are respected, you can enjoy the concert from the early morning until late at night.
Stylish decor. Spacious, but could not use (see below)
Checked in at 4pm. Had booked the largest suite available. The room temp was 85 when I entered. I immediately notified the front desk, who sent a maintenance worker. While I was waiting, I noticed the only ac mini split was in the bedroom, nothing in the living, kitchen, dining or bathrooms which comprised 80% of the apt. The person who came to inspect told me that the mini splits only blow air not AC. Windows would not open. Room phone did not work, so with every issue I had to go down to the front desk. The manager on duty said nothing could be done. Outside, the temperature was cooler than in the room so I can only imagine what these rooms would feel like in may and June! I decided to call Booked.net and they came to my rescue and had the hotel change my room. But with a catch..... The room was a third the size of the suite I had paid for. The "ac" was not much better but because the room was so much smaller it was bearable. We never did use the other combo kit/lr because the mini split old not keep up. To add insult to injury, upon checkout they tried to charge me a $50usd resort fee. Huh?... This was never in my guaranteed rate from Booked.net, and only by threatening to again call did they remove the charge. The whole thing was a mess. But a hotel should not advertise AC if it is only in 30% of the rented accommodation. When we went out to dinner at 9pm it was a full 10 degrees cooler outside than in the new room. Never again.
